Telangana HC stays Kaleshwaram report, relief for KCR and Harish Rao

Hyderabad, Apr 22 (UNI) The Telangana High Court on Wednesday stayed the report of the Justice P C Ghosh Commission, set up to probe alleged irregularities in the Kaleshwaram project, granting relief to former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and former Minister T Harish Rao.
The court directed that no action be taken based on the commission’s report, observing procedural lapses in its preparation and submission.
However, it upheld the validity of G.O. Ms. No. 6 issued in March 2024, under which the commission was constituted.

AP: 43 temples being renovated at a cost of Rs 54 71 Cr Endowment Minister

Eluru, May 9 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Minister for Endowment Anam Ramanarayana Reddy has said that 43 temples located on the Godavari river side will be renovated at a cost of Rs 54.71 crore before the ensuing Godavari pushkarams festival and reiterated the Government’s commitment to extend funds to 6,200 temples to perform daily rituals and disburse honorariums to the priests.
