Telangana Govt stands with Doctors, assures minister Seethakka

Hyderabad, Aug 14 (UNI) Telangana Panchayat Raj and Women and Child Welfare Minister D. Anasuya Seethakka assured that the state government fully supports the doctors.
She visited Gandhi Hospital on Wednesday to console a patient receiving treatment there. During her visit, Seethakka expressed solidarity with the doctors at Gandhi Hospital, who are protesting against the rape and murder of a PG medical student in Kolkata.
Seethakka condemned the horrific incident, stating that it is everyone's responsibility to protect women. She emphasised that the Congress government will take all necessary steps to address such issues and is also committed to combating the drug menace.
