Telangana Govt. expands urea distribution through farmer platforms

Hyderabad, Sep 8 (UNI) The Telangana government has expanded urea distribution centres to ensure smooth supply to farmers, following directions from Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao.
At present, nearly 12,000 government and private centres are supplying urea. However, with most farmers preferring government outlets, heavy congestion was reported at several locations.
To address this, the Agriculture Department has initiated urea distribution through 500 farmer platforms across the state.

Telangana Govt to set up Hamali Welfare Board, says Minister Vivek

Hyderabad, June 16 (UNI) Telangana Labour and Mines Minister G Vivek Venkataswamy on Tuesday announced that the state government will constitute a special committee for the establishment of a dedicated Hamali Welfare Board to safeguard the interests and welfare of hamali workers across the state.
