Telangana Govt aims to emerge as strategic aerospace hub: Sridhar Babu

Hyderabad, Apr 17 (UNI) Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu on Friday said the State Government is taking systematic steps to position Telangana as a strategic hub in the aerospace sector, with a strong focus on research and development (R&D), advanced manufacturing, and certification.
Addressing a national seminar organised by the Hyderabad Chapter of The Aeronautical Society of India at the Engineering Staff College of India in Gachibowli, the Minister said building a robust ecosystem to adapt to global changes is key to future growth in aerospace.
He noted that while India is emerging as a significant player in the global aerospace supply chain, there is a need to bridge the gap between research and commercial manufacturing. The State, he said, is working on a focused action plan to translate innovation into market-ready products.
