Telangana: Ensure hassle-free LPG supply, prevent black marketing: Chief Secretary

Hyderabad, March 13 (UNI) Telangana Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao on Friday directed officials to ensure hassle-free distribution of LPG cylinders to domestic consumers across the state and take strict measures to prevent black marketing, while conducting daily reviews and maintaining adequate police surveillance at distribution centres.
The Chief Secretary issued these directions during a review meeting held at the Dr B R Ambedkar State Secretariat with representatives of oil marketing companies and officials of the Civil Supplies Department to assess LPG stocks, distribution and the prevailing supply situation in the state.
During the meeting, officials discussed statewide LPG supply, existing stocks, the transportation network and future requirements in detail.
