Telangana DGP stresses effective use of CCTNS to boost crime tracking, policing efficiency

Hyderabad, Apr 22 (UNI) Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) Dr Jitender on Tuesday underscored the critical importance of effectively implementing the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS) to enhance crime detection and improve criminal tracking mechanisms across the state.
In a video conference held from the DGP Office, Dr Jitender interacted with all District Superintendents of Police and Police Commissioners, reviewing the progress and usage of the CCTNS project across various districts.
Highlighting the system’s advanced tools and digital features, Dr Jitender stressed that senior officers must actively lead by example in utilising the platform.
