Telangana DGP launches ‘Call for Blood’ web app to connect donors with patients

Hyderabad, Jan 13 (UNI) Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) B Shivadhar Reddy on Tuesday launched the ‘Call for Blood Foundation’ web application, aimed at quickly connecting people in need of blood with potential donors.
The web app has been designed to enable rapid communication between blood donors and patients, helping identify available donors during emergencies. It has been developed using modern technology with a focus on maintaining confidentiality and protecting donor information.
Key features include secure handling of personal details, the option to keep donor information hidden for a specific period after donation, and an emergency system to identify donors quickly when blood is required urgently.
