Telangana Cyber Security Bureau bust SIM Box set up in Hyderabad; 3 held

Hyderabad, Sep 11 (UNI) Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) in association with Department of Telecommunications (DoT) busted a SIM Box set up at Chandrayanagutta, in the old city and arrested three accused including SIM cards salesman, here today.
The arrested accused are -- Hidayaullah ( 28 ), Ahad Khan (25) and Shaik Shoaib ( 24), a SIM cards salesman. All are residents of Hyderabad.
The Hyderabad based DoT, received a complaint through the Chakshu Portal regarding cyber fraud involving impersonation calls. Building on this input, TGCSB team analyzed the Call Detail Records (CDRs) of the suspected numbers, conducted field enquiries, and gathered local intelligence to identify the location of the SIM box setup accurately.
