Telangana CS directs officials to recover Central dues, prepare 100-day action plan

Hyderabad, Feb 16 (UNI) Telangana Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao on Monday directed senior officials to formulate concrete action plans for recovery of funds due to Telangana from the Central Government and ensure their utilisation for pending development works.
Addressing a high-level review meeting at the Dr B R Ambedkar Secretariat with secretaries and principal secretaries of various departments, the Chief Secretary said efforts should be intensified to collect dues under centrally sponsored schemes by the end of March.
He instructed officials to focus on pending funds related to Single Nodal Agency (SNA) accounts, 15th Finance Commission grants and other central schemes, and suggested appointing a special officer in Delhi to coordinate the process.
