Telangana CM urges NABARD to provide low-interest loans under RIDF

Hyderabad, Mar 21 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has urged NABARD Chairman Shaji K V to provide low-interest loans under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) to support various developmental initiatives in the state.
During a meeting with the NABARD chairman in Hyderabad on Friday, the chief minister sought funding for micro-irrigation projects and emphasised the need to strengthen and establish new cooperative societies.
He also called for a special scheme for women's self-help groups (SHGs) and suggested linking the management of solar plants provided to SHG women with NABARD for better financial sustainability, an official statement said.
