Telangana: BRS chief KCR ridicules duplicate Gandhis

Warangal (Telangana), Apr 27 (UNI) BRS supremo and former chief minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR), on Sunday evening ridiculed the "duplicate Gandhis" — Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi and accused them of fooling Telangana farmers with fake promises.
Addressing a massive public meeting here, KCR questioned "Where is the Rs 15,000 Rythu Bandhu amount they promised. It’s been one-and-a-half years. Not even Rs 1,500 has also reached the farmers," KCR said.
He exposed how Congress repeatedly cheated Telangana in the past including betraying Telangana’s formation in 1956 and again in 1969; Ignoring the recommendations of Justice Srikrishna Committee and finally, taking a reluctant decision (separate Telangana state) under mass pressure in 2014.
