Telangana BJP demands transparency on investment claims

Hyderabad, Jan 24 (UNI) The Telangana State BJP unit has called for greater transparency regarding the state government’s investment claims following the recent World Economic Forum (WEF) summit.
While welcoming the reported signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth Rs 1.7 lakh crore, the BJP has urged the government to release a white paper detailing the status of investments promised at last year’s WEF.
In a press note issued here on Friday, the BJP spokesperson NV Subash raised concerns about the lack of accountability in converting MoUs into actual investments.
