Teenager arrested for indecent remarks on Hindu Gods

Bareilly (UP), Sep 24 (UNI) A 15-year-old boy was arrested by the police allegedly for making indecent remarks against Hindu Gods and Goddesses in Izzatnagar area of Bareilly district here in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday,
Police sources said that the student of class 10th allegedly made indecent remarks against Hindu Gods and Goddesses on social media. "The screenshot of the comment went viral on social media after which members of Hindu organisation lodged a strong protest," they said.
Inspector Izzatnagar Arun Kumar Srivastava said that keeping in mind the situation of communal harmony in the city a case was registered against the accused under the IT Act on Sunday afternoon and he was sent to a juvenile home.
