Technology most powerful tool in modern policing: Telangana DGP

Hyderabad, June 12 (UNI): Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) C.V. Anand on Friday said technology has become the most powerful tool in modern policing and its effective utilisation is crucial for crime prevention, investigation and combating cybercrime in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Speaking after inaugurating an Advanced Computer Lab and She Cyber Lab at the CID Headquarters here, Anand said Telangana Police continues to remain at the forefront of technology adoption in the country and is consistently embracing innovative solutions to strengthen law enforcement and improve public service delivery.
The newly established facility is equipped with an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered Smart Conference, Crime Analytics and Data Management System designed to enhance investigative capabilities and promote data-driven policing, he said.
