Tech Mahindra Q4 net profit surges 77 pc to Rs 1,167 cr

New Delhi, Apr 24 (UNI) Tech Mahindra on Thursday reported a 77 per cent surge in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,167 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, as against Rs 661 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The Mahindra group IT major had posted a net profit of Rs 983.2 crore in the preceding December quarter.
The company's revenue from operations rose 4 per cent to Rs 13,384 crore in the fourth quarter of FY25, compared to Rs 12,871 crore in the year-ago period.
Declaring its financial results, the company's board also approved a final dividend of Rs 30 per share for FY25.
"This year, we laid a strong foundation for our transformation journey. Through strategic investments in our people, leadership, and capabilities, we have positioned ourselves to accelerate our strategic roadmap."
"Our deal wins at $2.7 billion, reflect a 42 per cent year-on-year increase and are a clear validation of the depth of our client partnership,” said Mohit Joshi, Chief Executive Officer of Tech Mahindra.
Shares of Tech Mahindra ended 0.49 per cent higher at Rs 1,446.6 apiece on the National Stock Exchange on Thursday. UNI BDN SSP

After LPG distributors announce suspension of distribution, NRAI asks restaurants to conserve energy

New Delhi, Mar 10 (UNI) After the government invoked Essential Commodities Act on petroleum products, followed by All India LPG distributors announcing temporary suspension of distribution to non-essential consumers including hotels and restaurants, the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI), the pan-India body of organised restaurant chains, has advised its member restaurants to adopt immediate fuel-conservation and operational measures.
