Teachings of Maharishi Valmiki remain relevant even today: R.S. Bali

Nagrota/Kangra, Oct 8 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) Chairman and Tourism Development Board Vice-Chairman (Cabinet Rank) R.S. Bali attended programmes held at Nagrota and Kangra to mark the birth anniversary of Maharishi Valmiki. Extending greetings to the people of the state on this auspicious occasion, Bali said that Maharishi Valmiki was a great sage whose teachings and principles remain relevant even in the present times.
Bali said that every individual should follow the path shown by Maharishi Valmiki to make life meaningful. He described Valmiki as a symbol of social unity and equality, who worked to eradicate social evils such as untouchability and spread the message of love, harmony, and spirituality.
He emphasized that saints and great personalities do not belong to any one community, caste, or religion, but to the entire humanity, and their teachings guide people across all sections of society.
