Teacher, student drown during tuition class trip to beach

Akola, Nov 9 (UNI) A leisure trip to the seaside turned tragic for a private coaching class from Akola, when a teacher and a student drowned at Kashid Beach in Raigad district, police said on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Ram Kute (60), a teacher from Akola, and Ayush Ramteke (19), a student. Another student, Ayush Bobde (17), who was also swept away by waves, was rescued safely, according to police.
Preliminary reports indicate that a group of 12 students and three teachers from a private coaching institute in Akola had travelled to Kashid Beach as part of an excursion on Saturday.
