T20 World Cup triumph ushers in sparkling celebrations in UP

Lucknow, March 8( UNI) Fireworks erupted across Uttar Pradesh, with the scenes resembling an unseasonal Diwali in Kashi, Lucknow and Agra as Iindia retained the T20 World Cup with a 96-run win over New Zealand in the title clash on Sunday.
In Agra, fans celebrated by waving the tricolor and dancing. Fan enthusiasm remained high throughout the match. Cricket lovers were incredibly enthusiastic. The match was shown on projectors in Lucknow, and in cinema halls in Meerut and Kashi.
Meanwhile, in Purvanchal, instructions were issued to avoid power outages during the match. The order stated that there should be no power cuts anywhere during the match, so that people could watch the match without any problems.
