T20 World Cup: Netherlands face Namibia, Pak meet USA

New Delhi/Colombo, Feb 9 (UNI) The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 continues on Tuesday with two Group A league matches, as the Netherlands face Namibia in a morning fixture in New Delhi, followed by Pakistan taking on the United States of America in an evening encounter in Colombo.
At the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, the Netherlands will be looking to register their first win of the tournament when they meet Namibia in a match scheduled to begin at 11:00 am IST. The Dutch suffered a narrow defeat against Pakistan in their opening game, where fielding lapses proved costly despite a disciplined bowling performance while defending 148.
Captain Scott Edwards, who top-scored with 37 in that match, will once again be central to the Netherlands’ batting effort. Opener Michael Levitt remains their key attacking option, having scored 282 runs in his last seven T20 internationals and a memorable 135 in the most recent meeting against Namibia. The bowling unit, led by Aryan Dutt and Paul van Meekeren, showed promise in the first game and will be tested again on a batting-friendly surface.
