Swiss International University Announces Acquisition of Four Academies in $21.7 Million Education Investment

Swiss International University expands its global presence with a $21.7 million acquisition in multiple countries.

New Delhi [India], December 12: Swiss International University has taken a giant leap in its global expansion by investing 21.7 million to buy four prestigious academies in Switzerland, Dubai, and Kyrgyzstan. The move is strategic and shows the commitment of the university to modern, accessible education and its ambition to improve its international presence.

Among the acquisitions is the International Academy in Zurich, Switzerland's first virtual learning institute. Founded in 2013, it is permitted by ASIC in the UK, CHEA in the US, and INQAAHE in Europe, and its online programs have been acclaimed as innovative. Its addition aligns well with the mission of offering flexible and inclusive learning opportunities and strengthens its online education offerings greatly.

The university also acquired International Business Management School (ISBM) in Luzern. ISBM is ranked among the top 2% of schools worldwide with a 5-star QS rating. It was established in 2016 and was allowed by Luzern's Board of Education to confer diplomas. Its excellent standing in business and management education enables the university to build leaders in these areas better.

In the Middle East, Swiss International University expanded its footprint by acquiring the ISB Management Training Institute in Dubai. Approved by the KHDA (Knowledge and Human Development Authority), this institute, operational since 2022, offers programs ranging from diplomas to doctoral degrees. The acquisition strengthens the university's presence in a rapidly growing region, providing students with advanced educational and vocational opportunities.

The university secured the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International Pedagogy Institute in Osh, Kyrgyzstan, as its Central Asia university. The institute, accredited by Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Education, provides access to both traditional and online learning formats and expands educational access in the region while advancing the mission of the university to include everyone.

These strategic acquisitions not only expand Swiss International University's reach around the world but also demonstrate its commitment to quality education. The university is bringing innovative approaches together with the traditional excellence of academics to open more doors for students around the world to achieve success in their studies and careers. The 21.7 million investment reaffirms its vision of becoming a leader in international education, through a network of institutions that are committed to accessibility and excellence.
