Swift action by Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police

Hyderabad, July 17 (UNI) The Cyber Crime Police of Hyderabad City announced a significant achievement in their relentless fight against cyber fraud.
A police statement on Wednesday detailed the successful interventions:
Case 1: On July 16, a victim reported losing Rs 2 lakhs from his Union Bank of India account due to an APK-based KYC fraud. The Cyber Crime Police, led by the NCRP Nodal Team of N Srikanth Naik, Mohd Javeed, and B Naresh Kumar, immediately registered the complaint on the NCRP portal. They coordinated with the victim's bank and the suspect bank, successfully blocking Rs 1,75,185 in the fraudster's Canara Bank account.

Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.
The movable and immovable assets were located in various places across Tamil Nadu
belonging to Neomax Properties Private Ltd., and its group companies viz. Garlando
Properties Private Ltd., Transco Properties Private Ltd., Tridas Properties Private Ltd.,
Glowmax Properties Private Ltd. and its Directors/shareholders viz. Kamalakannan,
Balasubramanian, Veerasakthi, Charles and others.
