SW Monsoon active over Kerala

Pune, Aug 14 (UNI) The Southwest Monsoon has been active over Kerala. It has been subdued over west Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and north interior Karnataka.
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Kerala and at many places in Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and Lakshadweep and at a few places in Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan, east Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Saurashtra and Kutch, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in Punjab, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, west Madhya Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujarat region, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana and Rayalaseema.
Mainly dry weather has prevailed in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Jharkhand Uttar Pradesh, Marathwada, coastal Karnataka and interior Karnataka.
