SVAG Pet Home launches Barkitecture products for dogs

Hyderabad, Jan 16 (UNI) Hyerabad’s startup SVAG Pet Home launched Barkitecture, a first of its kind concept in India and comes out with villas, pods, designer furniture for dogs, here on Thursday.

The startup company also launched Barkkey foundation to promote responsible parenting and dog related service activities such as taking care of strary dogs.

Addressing a press conference on the occasion, Company Founders Sushanth Kanneganti and Vishal Bothra said these are dog centric products such as homes, villas, pods, furniture and planning to produce 50 designs in next 15-days against the available currently 25 designs.

The price range product starts from Rs 15,000 and up to Rs 5 lakhs and all products are eco-friendly, waterproof and fire resistance, they informed and said that we have invested Rs 1.8 crore so far for the Barkkey manufacturing facility located at Aramghar, on the outskirts of the city, where wide variety of products were produced for B2B and B2C,..

Sushanth said that our target is to sell one lakh pieces of furniture in the next one year and all the products are available on offline and online – www.barkeey.com and – Amazon as well and the delivery time is 4-days and across india, we will deliver in 7-days.

The Overall pet industry market size is Rs 5,000 crore as of 2024 and expected to touch Rs 10,000 crore across India by 2028, he said.

The adoption rate in India is 6 lakhs per annum and spending on every dog per annum is between Rs 7 lakhs and 12 lakhs, he added.

Vishal said that under Barkkey foundation, we are introducing B-Bowl for the welfare of street dogs for free as every street dog deserves love, a meal.

Right now, we will provide B-Bowl at ten places in Hi-tech city and gradually, we will scale up at other places in Hyderabad, where there are over 4 lakh stray dogs, he added.

The company co-founders Gopal Varma and Anudeep Y were also present.
