Suvendu alleges Mamata creating panic regarding Aadhaar card, writes to Prime Minister

Kolkata, Feb 20 (UNI) Leader of Opposition in the West Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari on Tuesday in a complaint to Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleged that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was "spreading disinformation" regarding" deactivation" of Aadhaar cards by the Centre among the people across the state.
In a letter to the Prime Minister, Adhikari said the "Chief Minister has been intentionally and deliberately creating panic amongst the people of the state by peddling politically motivated fake news that the Central Government is going to deactivate Aadhaar Cards before the Lok Sabha Elections in order to deprive the beneficiaries from receiving benefits of various social welfare schemes.''
Adhikari said he has also apprised the Prime Minister about the alleged "malafide intention" of Banerjee to "create public hysteria for political gains".

Kolkata, May 19 (UNI) A day after the TMC withdrew its MP Yusuf Pathan from the Centre's 'Operation Sindoor' global outreach programme, party general secretary Abhishek Banerjee on Monday said it has not boycotted the drive, but "it is not acceptable naming a party MP unilaterally without consultation."
"How could the Centre unilaterally decide on the representative of the Trinamool Congress in the delegation without discussing the matter with the party," questioned Abhishekh Banerjee at the Dum Dum airport before leaving for New Delhi.
