Suspended Mahoba SP booked in another case

Mahoba, Sept 12 (UNI) Manilal Patidar, Mahoba's former Superintendent of Police (SP), who was suspended by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has been booked in one more case under serious charges of extorting money and attempt to murder, police said on Saturday.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Arun Kumar Srivastava here said that based on a complaint of Ravikant, brother of explosives trader Indrakant Tripathi, the Kabrai police have registered a case against suspended SP Manilal Patidar, then SHO Devendra Shukla, two explosives traders Brahmdutt Tiwari and Suresh Soni and other unidentified persons under IPC Sections 307 A, 387 A, 120 B.
Indrakant Tripathi, partner in VIP Traders Firm, an explosives seller of Kabrai, had accused Mahoba's then SP Manilal Patidar of demanding money from him illegally and implicating him in false cases when he refused to give the money.
