Suspected thief caught snatching earrings of lady, head shaved, face blackened by locals in Jammu

Jammu, Apr 11 (UNI) A suspected thief was paraded semi-naked with shaved head and blackened face when he was caught red handed by the locals while snatching earrings of a lady in old city area here on Friday.
Sources said that the suspected thief, said to be a resident of Reasi, was caught by the locals when he snatched the gold earrings of a lady in busy Link Road, in the heart of the old city.
An eyewitness said that he was thrashed on the spot following which his head was shaved and the face was blackened.
