Suspected terrorists fire on Army patrol party on LoC, Army retaliates in Rajouri

Jammu, Feb 8 (UNI) Indian troops on Saturday effectively retaliated to the firing by suspected terrorists along the Line of Control in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Official sources said that the suspected terrorists fired a few rounds at the patrol party on LoC in Rajouri.
"The Indian Army troops effectively retaliated to the firing," they said adding that no injury was reported on the own side.
Notably, on the intervening night of February 4-5, a major infiltration was foiled when a group of suspected terrorists believed to be killed in a landmine explosion on the Line of Control in the Battal area of Krishna Ghati Sector in Mendhar area of Poonch district.
