Sushila Karki takes oath as Nepal PM, first woman to lead govt

Kathmandu, Sep 12 (UNI) Former Chief Justice Sushila Karki was tonight appointed as the first female Prime Minister of Nepal.
She was appointed as the Prime Minister by President Ram Chandra Paudel in line with Article 61 (4) of the Constitution.
President Paudel administered the oath of office of secrecy to Prime Minister Sushila Karki at a ceremony at Sheetal Niwas, the President’s Office late in the evening.
