Suryakumar likens Bumrah-Arshdeep pair to Shubman-Abhishek combo

Sydney, Nov 2 (UNI) India captain Suryakumar Yadav on Sunday drew a striking comparison between the team's new-ball pair and the opening duo after the side's commanding five-wicket win over Australia in the second T20 International here, which levelled the five-match (rpt five match) series 1-1.
Suryakumar, who broke his long-running toss jinx, hailed the chemistry between Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh, saying their partnership with the ball was as impactful as that of Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma at the top of the order.
"They're a fantastic pair — a bit like Shubman and Abhishek up top. Bumrah does his job quietly, keeps it tight, and Arshdeep capitalises from the other end. Together, they're a really lethal combination," he said after the win.
