Sunil Tatkare Clarifies Meeting With Sharad Pawar Was Only to Inquire About His Health

Mumbai, May 13 ( UNI) NCP (Ajit Pawar) group state president Sunil Tatkare has scotched speculation over his late Tuesday night meeting with veteran leader Sharad Pawar saying, it was just to enquire about the latter's health and no political discussion took place.
Recently, the Ajit Pawar-led NCP faction submitted a revised executive committee list to the Election Commission, and the document later surfaced on social media. In the letter, Praful Patel was mentioned only as a Rajya Sabha MP, while Tatkare was referred to merely as a Lok Sabha MP. Their organizational posts — national working president and Maharashtra state president respectively — were not mentioned in the document.
This omission sparked widespread political discussion, with speculation that party national president Sunetra Pawar may have sidelined Patel and Tatkare from key positions.
