Sunetra Pawar pays tribute to Ambedkar, calls Constitution living guarantee of dignity

Mumbai, April 14 (UNI) Marking the 135th birth anniversary on April 14, Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar paid homage to Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar at Chaitya Bhoomi in Dadar, Mumbai, joining Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Governor Jishnu Dev Varma in offering floral tributes to the architect of the Indian Constitution.
Sharing her reflections alongside photographs from the commemorative event, Pawar conveyed deep respect for Ambedkar’s intellectual and social legacy, stating “Mahamanavanchya vicharanna ani karyala trivar vandan” (Triple salutations to the thoughts and work of the great soul).
She described his life as a profound journey of resistance against injustice and inequality, noting that his work laid the foundation of a democratic framework rooted in equality, liberty, fraternity and justice.
