Sunder Thakur to be inducted as Minister soon : CM

Shimla, Feb 17(UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu stated in the assembly on Tuesday that the Member from Kullu Sunder Thakur would be inducted as minister soon.
Intervening on the issue of appointment of CPS, chairmen and vice Chairmen in the govenrment, the Chief Minister stated that the number of Chairmen and Vice Chairmen appointed are not more compared to the previous BJP regime.
During the reply on the RDG discussions, the amount spent by the previous BJP government on the non-elected poltical advisors and chairman and vice Chairman would be tabled in the state assembly, he said. "This Government did not appointed more than previous BJP government. We have increased salaries and perks including vehicles from the funds that belonged to the government companies which are incurring profit and paying income tax,'' he said.

Dehradun, March 5 (UN) Uttarakhand has witnessed more than 50 percent rise in GSDP growth as its annual growth rate is projected more than eight percent while poverty in the Himalayan state is down by 2.8 percent in the last 4 years. Annual growth projected for the state in 2026-27 will be 8.2 percent.
