Submit proposal on state's health policy: Maha Minister

Mumbai, May 19 (UNI) Health Minister Prakash Abitkar on Monday asked officials to submit a proposal on the state's health policy immediately in order to make the Public Health Department more dynamic, people-oriented and transparent.
He was speaking in a meeting attended by health secretary Dr Nipun Vinayak, secretary Virendra Singh, commissioner Amgothu Sriranga Nayak, director Dr Nitin Ambadekar, director Vijay Kandewad, director Dr Swapnil Lale, along with under secretary and senior officers.
The Minister asked officials to include contractual employees working under the National Health Mission in government service and submit a proposal to raise their honorarium. He also instructed to follow up on the government decision of the Women and Child Welfare Department on the inclusion of employees under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana.
