Sub-adult tiger found dead in Maharashtra

Chandrapur, Feb 6 (UNI) A sub-adult tiger was discovered dead on Friday in the buffer zone of Maharashtra’s Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR), according to a press release.
The carcass was located in the Shivni forest range, prompting an immediate response from forest officials.
On inspection, authorities noted injuries around the tiger’s neck and evidence that its hindquarters had been partially eaten, making it difficult to identify the sex of the animal.
