Stage set for new CM to take over in J&K

Srinagar, Oct 15 (UNI) The stage is set for the swearing-in-ceremony of National Conference vice President Omar Abdullah as the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir amid tight security arrangements put in place at Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) Srinagar on Tuesday.
The Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will administer the oath of office to Omar and his council of ministers at 11.30 am at SKICC on Wednesday.
“All arrangements have been put in place with security being tightened in and around the SKICC in Srinagar ahead of tomorrow's swearing-in ceremony of Omar Abdullah as the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir”, officials said.
