Srinagar Police attach properties worth Rs 3.5 crore in anti-drug crackdown

Srinagar, June 6 (UNI): Continuing its sustained crackdown against drug trafficking under the ongoing ‘Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan’, Police in Srinagar on Saturday said that it attached immovable properties worth approximately Rs 3.5 crore belonging to two notorious drug peddlers under the provisions of the NDPS Act.
In the first action, Police Station Nigeen attached a double-storeyed residential house along with land worth approximately Rs 1.30 crore at Habbak Crossing, Hazratbal, belonging to Rahil Manzoor Malla, in connection with an FIR registered in 2021 under Section 8/21 of the NDPS Act.
In a separate action, Police Station Soura attached a residential house worth around Rs 2.20 crore belonging to Adil Rashid Gudoo of Keel Khan Gali, Upper Soura, under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act.

Jind, Jul 16 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday reviewed preparations at Jind Railway Station ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the state on July 17, during which the Prime Minister is scheduled to flag off India's first hydrogen-powered train and inaugurate several key development projects.
After inspecting the venue, the Chief Minister said Haryana was fully prepared to witness the historic occasion.
