Srikantan appointed Chairman of CII Karnataka

Bengaluru, Mar 12 (UNI) The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Karnataka announced its new office bearers for 2025-26 during its State Annual Meeting 2024-25 held here on Wednesday.
The meeting was followed by a conference on "Karnataka: Leading Technology and Knowledge Growth."
Rabindra Srikantan, Founder and Managing Director of ASM Technologies Ltd, has been elected as Chairman of CII Karnataka State Council for 2025-26. Guruprasad Mudlapur, President of Bosch Group India and Managing Director of Bosch Ltd, has been elected as Vice Chairman.
Srikantan brings over 35 years of experience in engineering, design, and manufacturing. He holds dual MS degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Louisiana, USA, and a BE in Electrical and Electronics from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore.
Under his leadership, ASM Technologies has expanded globally, delivering engineering R&D and design-led manufacturing solutions across India, USA, Singapore, UK, Europe, and Japan. He has actively contributed to policy advocacy, skill development, and engineering research.
Mudlapur has been leading Bosch Group India since July 1, 2023, and has also served as its Chief Technology Officer since 2022. He previously held leadership roles at Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions India, overseeing automotive semiconductor and electronics control unit development. His expertise spans electrification engineering for electric vehicles, hydrogen internal combustion engines, and fuel cell electric vehicles.
Before Bosch, he worked at NXP Semiconductors in Singapore and the Netherlands in semiconductor development for mobile, personal communication, and digital televisions. Mudlapur holds a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Bangalore University and has completed EGMP at IIM Bangalore.
CII Karnataka continues to play a key role in advancing industrial growth, policy advocacy, and technological innovation in the state. With its new leadership, the organisation aims to strengthen Karnataka’s position as a hub for technology and knowledge-driven industries.
