Sridhar Babu highlights tech–healthcare convergence at TAL Health Fest 2026

Hyderabad, Feb 16 (UNI) Telangana IT and Industry Minister D Sridhar Babu on Monday said the state government is focussed on democratising healthcare through technology to ensure inclusive and affordable access for all sections of society.
Speaking during an interaction with Sai Gundavelli, Founder & CEO of Solix Technologies, Inc., at the TAL Health Fest 2026 organised by Touch-A-Life Foundation at T-Hub, the minister said Telangana is leveraging digital platforms, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to take quality healthcare to the poorest and most remote regions.
He highlighted key initiatives such as health profiling of citizens, early cancer detection programmes for women, integration of technology with government health institutions, and the launch of a medical tourism policy to position Telangana as a global healthcare destination.

AP CM proposes Rs 25,000 incentive for third child birth
