Sri Lanka name squad for Australia ODIs

Colombo, Feb 10 (UNI) Sri Lanka have confirmed their squad for their upcoming two-match ODI series against Australia here.
This series follows up after the 2-0 Test series defeat in the Warne-Muralidaran trophy.
Charith Asalanka continues as white-ball captain for this series as batters, Pathum Nissanka, Kamindu Mendis and Kusal Mendis all return to the white-ball side after their exploits in the Test series..
Sri Lanka squad for Australia ODIs:
Charith Asalanka (C), Pathum Nissanka, Avishka Fernando, Kusal Mendis, Kamindu Mendis, Janith Liyanage, Nishan Madushka, Nuwanidu Fernando, Wanindu Hasaranga, Maheesh Theekshana, Dunith Wellalage, Jeffrey Vandersay, Asitha Fernando, Lahiru Kumara, Mohamed Shiraz, Eshan Malinga
Leg-spinner Jeffrey Vandersay makes his way back to the One-Day format, an ICC report said.
Vandersay was in good nick against Australia in the test series, taking 3 wickets and contributing
a half-century in the only game he played at Galle.
Nuwaindu Fernando, the young off-spinner also makes his return to the One-Day setup.
The teams will play two ODIs in Colombo on February 12 and 14 as they look to gear up for the upcoming ICC Men’s Champions Trophy.
