Sri Lanka, Bangladesh secure wins in U19 Asia Cup

Dubai, Dec 1 (UNI) Sri Lanka and Bangladesh recorded dominant victories in their respective matches in the Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2024, highlighting their strong form in the tournament.
Sri Lanka showcased an allround masterclass to outplay Afghanistan in a one-sided encounter.
Opting to bat first, Sri Lanka posted an imposing 243/7, with Sharujan Shanmuganathan leading the charge with a sublime 102 off 132 balls. Pulindu Perera added a crucial 53, while Afghanistan’s AM Ghazanfar impressed with 3/35.
