Kohli enters Tendulkar territory, takes shorter route to 15,000 ODI runs

Thiruvananthapuram, Sept 27 (UNI) Records in cricket are rather like old monuments. They acquire dust, acquire reverence and, every now and then, someone comes along and climbs over the wall. Virat Kohli did just that on Sunday. With one handsome pull through mid-wicket off Alzarri Joseph, Kohli became only the second batsman after Sachin Tendulkar to cross 15,000 ODI runs.
