SPORTS JK TRIBAL GAMES J&K Sports Council organising open selection trials for Khelo India Tribal Games open selection trials for Khelo India Tribal Games

Jammu, Jan 21 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council on Wednesday announced the conduct of Phase-I Open Selection Trials to identify the J&K contingent in different sports disciplines forparticipation in the upcoming Khelo India Tribal Games-2026, scheduled to be held at Chhattisgarh.
As per the official spokesman, the trials are being organized for domicile athletes of Jammu and Kashmir belonging to the Tribal Community in the disciplines of Athletics, Wrestling, Weightlifting, Hockey and Football. Eligible players have been advised to report at the designated venues as per the schedule with all requisite documents.
It is being termed as a huge opportunity for aspiring athletes from tribal communities to showcase their talent and earn the chance to represent Jammu and Kashmir at the national level, while competing alongside the best athletes from across the country.
