Spinners steals show as CSK hammers KKR by 32 runs for second win in IPL

After setting a decent but competitive total of 192 for five, with no big innings except for two 40-plus scores by Sanju Samson (48) and Dewald Brevis (41), CSK bowlers rose to the occasion, especially the two leftarm spinners Noor and Akeal Hossein, who bowled a nagging line and length and struck at regular intervals to ensure that KKR were never in the hunt and restricted them to 160 for seven to win by a comfortable 32-run margin.
The visitors lagged far behind the asking rate right from the first over, on a wicket, which appeared good for batting and later turned slow with the ball stopping and coming, and the batters failed to break the shackles, and ended up losing their fourth match, as CSK scored a commanding win, to jump to eighth spot in the points, with KKR still languishing at the bottom of the table.
