Speakers remember Swami Vivekananda on Universal Brotherhood Day

Dharamshala, Sep 11 (UNI) A special symposium was organised at the Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala, on the occasion of Universal Brotherhood Day under the joint aegis of the university’s Centre for Yoga Studies and Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari.
Universal Brotherhood Day is observed every year on September 11, commemorating Swami Vivekananda’s historic address at the World’s Parliament of Religions in Chicago in 1893, which began with the words “Sisters and brothers of America” and gave a universal message of fraternity and unity.
The event was attended by Central University Dean (Academics) Prof. Pradeep Kumar, Controller of Examinations Prof. Jatendra Garg, Director of the Centre for Yoga Studies Dr. Sunil Kumar, along with Dr. Pratibha, Dr. Churchit Kumar, Prof. Ashish Nag, Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Prof. Amit Gangotia, and Balveer Kushwa sangathak of Vivekananda Kendra, Himachal Vibagh.
