SP will not announce candidate without survey, only winnable will be fielded: Akhilesh

Lucknow, Sep 14 (UNI) Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav today said that the party candidates will not be declared without a survey and only winning candidates will be fielded in the elections.
While addressing the leaders and workers from Bulandshahr and Hapur districts at the state headquarters, Akhilesh said that SP leaders and workers should stay among the people.
"They should be in touch with the voters. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) can try to cheat and steal votes. We have to be cautious of the BJP. It can also conspire to divide votes. SP workers should keep an eye on the conspiracies of BJP."

Himachal HC upholds six-year ban on Panchayati Raj representatives for false declarations

Delegates from 17 countries hold parleys in Rajasthan assembly on legislative drafting

Jaipur, Apr 18 (UNI) As many as 43 legislative delegates from 17 countries on Saturday held parleys with Rajasthan legislators in the state assembly here and shared views on the nitty-gritty of legislative drafting and their proper application in drafting an ideal Bill or legislation.
These delegates, mostly the elected peoples' representatives and legislature officers in their respective countries, were on an official visit to the Rajasthan assembly. The visit is part of the 37th International Legislative Drafting (Orientation) Programme organised by the Lok Sabha.
