Kerala supports women's access to menstrual hygiene products during travel

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 6 (UNI) The Kerala Government on Tuesday launched the WOMN (Women On the Move & Menstrual Needs) initiative to ensure easy availability of sanitary napkins for women and girls during travel and at public places. The initiative, being implemented by the Women and Child Development Department as part of the State Government's 100-day action programme, was launched at the Thampanoor KSRTC Bus Terminal here by Women and Child Development, Labour, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Minister Bindu Krishna.
