Well Marked Low Pressure Area over bay persists, to intensify further, unlikely to impact Indian region

Chennai, Oct 19 (UNI) The Low Pressure area over southwest Arabian Sea which became well marked moved slowly eastwards and persisted over the same region at 0530 hrs today, even as Met office said it is unlikely to impact the Indian region. It is likely to intensify into a Depression over the same region during next 24 hours. It is likely to move initially east-northeastwards, recurve gradually northwestwards and move towards Somalia coast during next 2-3 days.
