Fresh LP area to form over Bay, TN coast in 24 hrs, heavy to very heavy rains to continue till Oct 26

Chennai, Oct 20 (UNI) A Fresh Low Pressure area is likely to form over the Bay and adjoining Tamil Nadu coast during the next 24 hrs and the state would continue to receive heavy to very heavy rains till October 26. In an update, Met office on Tuesday eveing said due to likely formation of a low-pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu coast during next 24 hours, heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to continue over several districts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal till 26 October.
