AP: Deep depression over bay of Bengal to intensify into cyclonic storm by Oct 26 :MeT

Visakhapatnam, Oct 23 (UNI) A low-pressure area over the Eastcentral and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal is expected to concentrate into a depression within 24 hours and intensify into a cyclonic storm by October 26, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Friday. The weather system, which developed around 5:30 am IST, is projected to move west-northwestwards, strengthening into a deep depression by October 25 before escalating into a full cyclonic storm over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal on the morning of October 26.
