Ex-VP Venkaiah Naidu defends CEC, finds fault with opposition

Vijayawada, Oct 10 (UNI) Former Vice-president M Venkaiah Naidu on Sarturday defended embattled Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar stating that he was doing his job and found fault with the Opposition leaders for dragging the CEC to the streets, demanding his resignation. Talking to the media at Atkuru near here, Naidu said that the CEC is a constitutional body and demanding CEC's resignation without a strong reason is highly objectionable.
